This is the statement of Bible doctrine as believed and taught by the Believers’ LoveWorld Inc. This statement of faith has its source in the Bible and is in total agreement with the foundational principles of the doctrines of Christ. We believe that the Bible contains the inspired and infallible Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1: 20-21)

We believe that there is only one God eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. (Ephesians 4:5-6, Gen. 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17)

We believe in the deity of Christ. He was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:30-35)
b. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:30-35)
c. He died (John 19:30-35)
d. He rose again from the dead bodily (John 20:25-29, Luke 24:36-40)
e. He ascended into heaven bodily (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 29-30)

We believe in the rapture of the church and the Second coming of Christ. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 29-30)

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus
(Acts 3:19, Luke 24:47; Ephesians 1:7)

We believe regeneration by the power of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God is essential for personal salvation
(Titus 2:5, John 3:3-5, Ephesians 5:25-27)

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides divine healing for the body, salvation for the soul of everyone that believes. (1 Peter 2: 24; Acts 3: 16, Acts 9: 32 – 35)

We believe that when an individual receives the Holy Ghost, he receives divine enablement for Christian service and witness. (Acts 1: 8; 2:4; 3:1 – 26; 4:5 - 12)

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost. (Romans 15: 16; 1 Corinthians 6:11)

We believe in the final resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the former to eternal life and the latter to eternal judgement. (Revelations 20: 11 – 15; 1 Corinthians 15: 12 - 23)

THE STRENGTH TO GOVERN YOURSELF

“Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city.”
— Proverbs 16:32

Good day, brothers and sisters.

There is a kind of strength that the world does not always recognize.

We often measure strength by what a person can conquer — how much money they can make, how much power they can gain, how many battles they can win, or how much they can possess.

But the Word of God teaches us something different.

“Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city.”

What a powerful reminder.

Sometimes the greatest battle we will ever fight is not against another person.

It is within ourselves.

The battle against anger.
The battle against impatience.
The battle against greed.
The battle against jealousy.
The battle against pride.
The battle against the desire to have more, even when God has already given us enough.

We can spend our whole lives trying to control everything around us — people, circumstances, possessions, outcomes and tomorrow — while forgetting the one thing God has placed directly within our responsibility:

ourselves.

Serenity begins when we learn the difference between what we can control and what we cannot.

It is not weakness to walk away from an argument.

It is not weakness to wait.

It is not weakness to say, “I have enough.”

It is not weakness to forgive.

It is not weakness to remain silent when anger wants to speak.

Sometimes self-control is the greatest victory.

The Bible also warns us about greed:

“Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”
— Luke 12:15

Greed tells us, “More will make you happy.”

But Scripture reminds us:

“Godliness with contentment is great gain.”
— **1 Timothy 6:6

There is a peace that comes when we stop measuring our lives by what we have and begin measuring them by who we are becoming.

Patience teaches us not to force what God has not yet brought to us.

Contentment teaches us to appreciate what God has already given us.

Self-control teaches us not to become slaves to every thought, emotion, temptation or desire.

And faith teaches us to trust God with what is beyond our control.

So perhaps serenity is not about escaping life.

Perhaps serenity is about returning to the right place within ourselves — and returning our hearts to God.

Before we blame someone else, let us examine ourselves.

Before we demand more, let us appreciate what we already have.

Before we react, let us pause.

Before we speak, let us consider our words.

Before we chase everything the world promises will make us happy, let us ask whether we have already overlooked the peace God has placed within reach.

The person who can govern themselves has already won a battle that no possession can win for them.

So today, let us choose patience over anger.

Contentment over greed.

Self-control over impulse.

Peace over conflict.

Faith over fear.

And wisdom over reaction.

Because sometimes the greatest victory is not conquering the world around us.

It is learning to govern the world within us.

May God give us the wisdom to know what we can change, the patience to accept what we cannot, and the strength to govern ourselves in both.

Be still.
Be patient.
Be content.
Return to yourself.
And return to God.

Amen. 🙏

Life as understood by unnamed author.

THE BALANCE!

In the beginning, as recorded in the Book of Genesis, light was called forth into darkness not as a correction of failure, but as an act of differentiation. Darkness alone was unexpressed potential, a silent void waiting for form. When light arrived, it revealed structure and created the contrast necessary for meaning to exist. This reveals a fundamental truth about our existence: creation does not move forward through sameness, but through the vital spark of distinction.
No system in our universe advances in isolation. We see this in the physical world where positive and negative charges produce the current that powers our lives, and in the artistic world where silence and sound collaborate to produce music. Tension and release are not enemies; they are the dual architects of strength. Male and female, formed as corresponding counterparts, embody this very principle. This is not a matter of hierarchy or mere utility, but of reciprocal ignition. Difference generates the motion, motion produces the striving, and that striving is what sustains life itself.
Left alone, the individual stagnates. Man alone or woman alone lacks the friction necessary for growth. Together, they generate direction. The presence of the "Other" acts as a catalyst, awakening deep-seated instincts for responsibility, ambition, legacy, and reproduction. Interdependence does not weaken a person’s identity; it activates it. Life persists because the relational tension between opposites produces a necessary forward movement.
Even what we commonly label as "bad" is often simply resistance in another form. Just as resistance strengthens the muscle, adversity clarifies our purpose and contrast sharpens our perception. Goodness is not a fragile thing that must be protected from the world; rather, it becomes visible and robust only when set against opposition. While growth could remain abstract in a world of perfect ease, the permit of friction ensures that our development becomes real and enduring.
Ultimately, creation is not a static event but a dynamic equilibrium. It is the constant interplay of light and shadow, strength and vulnerability, pursuit and fulfillment. Each polarity turns the wheel of becoming. The world "goes round" because difference does not exist to divide us—it exists to drive us. Through this complementarity, identity awakens and purpose ignites. Wholeness is never the elimination of our differences, but the profound harmony of opposites.
