It is achieved by digging the soil for new life, and by fiercely guarding our rivers and forests against systemic degradation. It is achieved by the frontline hands protecting the invisible web of life that keeps us alive, and the unyielding spirit of those rising up for environmental justice—demanding that we work harder to protect the environment than the economy, and refusing to let the rich variety of our beautiful earth fade into dust.
