🌱❤️ BBYDO COMMUNITY OUTREACH: GIVING BACK, GROWING TOGETHER! ❤️🌱

Today was another beautiful and meaningful day for Baswa ke Bokamoso Youth Development Organisation (BBYDO) as we continued our community outreach through our Food for Thought Programme. 🥬🌿

We had the privilege of visiting Matshela Crèche, right here in our village, where we donated fresh vegetables harvested through our efforts. This initiative reflects our commitment to promoting food security, supporting early childhood development, and demonstrating that young people can make a meaningful difference in their communities.

We were truly humbled by the warm welcome and appreciation we received from the principal and owner of Matshela Crèche. She expressed her gratitude for our contribution and shared how pleased she was to see young people from the village taking the initiative to do something positive for their community.

After waiting patiently for our visit, she was finally able to welcome us today, making the experience even more special. ❤️

As a beautiful gesture of appreciation, she also presented our organisation with a gift in return for our kindness and community efforts. While we never expect anything in return for what we do, receiving such appreciation, respect, and encouragement reminds us that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a lasting impact. 🎁🤝

🚨 INTRODUCING OUR NEW GBV PROGRAMME 🚨

Baswa ke Bokamoso Youth Development Organization (BBYDO) is proud to introduce a new programme focused on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention, Awareness and Support.

GBV continues to affect individuals, families and communities in many different ways. Through this programme, BBYDO aims to create awareness, educate young people and communities about GBV, promote prevention, encourage survivors to seek help, and create safer and more supportive communities.

🌱 Our programme will focus on: • GBV awareness and education
• Prevention and community dialogues
• Youth engagement and empowerment
• Promoting healthy and respectful relationships
• Information on available support services
• Community outreach and awareness campaigns
• Encouraging reporting and access to appropriate support

We believe that everyone deserves to live free from violence, abuse and discrimination.

This is not just a new programme — it is a commitment to building safer communities, informed young people and a future where violence is never normalised. ❤️
