MB Youth Movement is beyond angry and disgusted by the continued killing of women in South Africa. How many more women must die before we finally say ENOUGH? There is absolutely no justification for a man to abuse, assault, or murder a woman. Not jealousy. Not anger. Not rejection. Not relationship problems. NOTHING. A woman is not a man's property, she is not something he owns, controls, or gets to punish when things do not go his way. The culture of silence and excuses surrounding gender-based violence must end. We cannot continue mourning women after they have been brutally taken from their families while perpetrators are given excuses, sympathy, or opportunities to repeat their violence. Men who choose violence must be held accountable for their actions. We need to raise boys to understand that women deserve respect, dignity and safety—not fear. To every man who believes violence makes him powerful: taking away a woman's life does not make you strong; it exposes the worst kind of cowardice. South Africa cannot keep burying women and calling it normal. We must speak louder, stand together, protect one another, demand accountability, and refuse to remain silent. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Women deserve to live. Women deserve to feel safe. Women deserve to come home alive.
