Throwback Tuesday, when our Co-founder, Amanda Solomon, seen here with her co-founder mom, Jill Lewin and H18 Foundation UK Ambassador, Jacqui Joseph and her brother Paterson, was given such a wonderful honour of being a Cape Town Hero.

Amanda Solomon is following her passion by empowering unemployed women from less privileged communities with craft skills to generate income. H18 Foundation

Hi everyone, it’s been a long journey since we ceased operations in February. 🌱
During this time, H18 Foundation has been carefully planning our next steps to stay true to our values and ensure sustainability.

We’re excited to announce our partnership with the incredible Seconds 4 Good, as we slowly ease back into the upcycling realm. Together, we’re working to combat the destructive impact of fast fashion and drive a circular economy.

To kick things off, we’ve opened a shop on Yaga, aiming to create a self-sustaining income-generating opportunity while slowly reigniting our upcycling program.

Check out our shop here: https://www.yaga.co.za/seconds4good 🌿

Today is Friday the 13th, and what better day to celebrate MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE day? 🌟

It starts with a dream. ☁️
Add faith and it becomes a belief.
Add action and it becomes a part of life. Add perseverance and it becomes a goal in sight.
Add patience and time and it ends with a dream come true. 💗

We try make dreams come true at H18 Foundation, and we know it will take as long as it takes, as long as we don't give up. 💪

H18 Foundation made a dream come true in February 2021, by opening , firstly ensuring a quality education for the children of the H18 Ladies, and the community around us.

Always keeping SDG's in mind with every decision we make.

UN SDG 4
Education liberates the intellect, unlocks the imagination and is fundamental for self-respect. It is the key to prosperity and opens a world of opportunities, making it possible for each of us to contribute to a progressive, healthy society. Learning benefits every human being and should be available to all.
