The Faithful Friend Foundation marked 4 years of service on August 4th but with the busyness of everyday life, our ‘celebration’ stretched out over two months. 😂

But there’s more! On August 4th we received a message from our annual sponsor, Henk, who sent a generous donation all the way from the Netherlands. We’d like to thank Henk and his team at Briard Vereniging Nederland for making our 4 year anniversary so special and extend a huge thanks to Henk’s wife, Ingrid Hillhorst, whose support is the driving force behind these wonderful contributions.

We were able to give back to 4 incredible rescues that serve their communities so fervently. We had the joy of meeting the lovely Micky and some of her pups from , connected with Gigi’s niece from to pass on the goodies, and contributed funds to for their urgent appeal after a truck sadly struck their clinic and shelter. Last but not least, we spent the day with the family and it was truly special, we can’t wait to go back.

To everyone who has donated or served with us over these 4 years, we are deeply grateful for each of you. Your belief in our mission means more than you know. ✨

Today marks 4 years of serving through The Faithful Friend Foundation.

As we celebrate this milestone, may we remain humble in our giving and continue to serve those in need.

In keeping with tradition, we’ve kicked off our annual fundraiser. Throughout August, we’ll be collecting funds and essential goods to support a shelter in need.

Yesterday Morning 12 Nov, we rescued two pups that were abandoned,and seen roaming on the M5 expressway. Mangy skin, extremely thin and full of fleas💔

This morning after a lovely bath, a good nights rest and full bellies, we made our way to Century City where Marianthi from took these adorable boys and will help find them good loving homes❤️.

In last week I had the pleasure of meeting Professor Henk Hilhorst, who has consistently contributed to the Faithful Friend Foundation since being founded in 2021. During his most recent visit to Cape Town from the Netherlands, he brought a generous donation from him and his wife, of which all proceeds will be donated to in contribution to their sterilization vet bill. 🤍🤎🐶🐱
