🎀 This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, remember: early detection saves lives.

Detecting and diagnosing cancer early increases the likelihood of responding successfully to treatment and can improve the chance of survival. The encouraging news is that when breast cancer is detected early, treatment is often more effective, leading to better outcomes and significantly higher survival rates.

The Angel Network has started rallying support for its annual Christmas Back to School Backpacks drive!
For R350 you can gift a child with a backpack brimming with essentials. 🎒✨✏️

Every year before Christmas, the organisation calls on its community to help fill hundreds of backpacks with stationery, snacks, toiletries, lunch boxes and water bottles. Each one is then given to a vulnerable child who could use a little extra support ahead of the new school year.

Working hand in hand with volunteers and donors, it essentially acts as a bridge between people who want to help and communities that need it.

Last year, the backpack drive sparked plenty of smiles, with a total of 520 backpacks reaching children over the festive season!

🛣️ Mobility connects more than destinations.

It connects people to places, communities to opportunities, and Cape Town to the possibilities of a more connected future. 🌍✨

This October, we celebrate Transport Month—a time to reflect on the vital role mobility plays in our daily lives. From bustling city streets to serene rural roads, every journey we take brings us closer to new experiences, friendships, and growth. 🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️
