Shirley Wing from Hands of Mercy and Nathie Mazibuko, also one of their volunteers with some other sponsors as you can see from the banners, hosted a lunch with some music and activities for our residents a few days ago. They also donated some things that all came from their sponsors. They also donated a big air purifier for the hall.
The function was arranged by Nathie for his birthday, which he wanted to share with the residents.
It was also Yvette's birthday.
Thank you so much to Nathie and Shirley for this wonderful function. Our Residents loved it. 💐🎂🤗

We are sad to announce the sudden passing of a much loved staff member Joey. (Middle) For many years Joey was our chef and in more recent times was a member of our Care staff. Joey was always happy, smiling and adored by all our Residents and staff. Condolences to her family and may she rest in peace. We will miss you. ❤️

This is our beautiful dog friend Hope.
Hope came to the Farm with her sister Layla... both rescues found in shocking circumstances.
For a good 6 years they both lived a wonderful farm life, surrounded by the love and warmth of Cluny Residents and Staff.
Hope was always slightly compromised having to have regular physio over the past year or so. We are eternally grateful to Chanel, her physio, who gave her treatments for free. This gave Hopey huge relief, especially during the cold winter months.
We are all heartbroken that this amazing dog seemed to suffer a back injury a few weeks ago and had to leave us all behind.
Hope's life was shorter than we'd have liked but she enriched the lives of so many.
Rest in Peace our brave girl ❤️

Lovely Joan has been leading our Crafts sessions recently ! Thank you Joan ! Our girls have been busy bees ...One can only marvel at Dawn's chicken🐓🐔.. which she made entirely on her own. All and any knitting and crochet donations of wool, needles etc are most welcome 🙏🏻

Spring is finally here 💐 and the Cluny Staff organized a small function for the Residents. As always 💃🏻there was dancing, treats and our favorite musical duo Gary and John who provided the entertainment. We are so grateful to them. Our Residents know it’s party time when the two arrive. 🍾

At Cluny, we have a Garden of Remembrance to honour and remember so many special Residents that have passed. Marilyn Moir has recently planted this murraya in memory of her brother Graham.
We are looking for an OUTSIDE BENCH, and would be grateful for any donation of a garden bench in good condition ♡
