This year, your round of golf can make a difference in a child's life! 🧸❤️
We are delighted to announce that the Franchise Association of South Africa (FASA) will be supporting Golfing4Teddy at our upcoming Golf Day on Friday, 16 October 2026.
We invite every golfer to bring along a brand-new teddy bear to donate to this heartwarming cause.
🧸 Who is Golfing4Teddy?
Founded in 2015, Golfing4Teddy is a South African non-profit organisation dedicated to bringing comfort, hope and smiles to children facing some of life's toughest challenges.
Through the generosity of corporate sponsors, golfers and individual donors, Golfing4Teddy distributes over 10,000 teddy bears to children across South Africa, reaching both major cities and rural communities.
Our teddy bears find their way into:
- ❤️ Paediatric oncology wards, where brave little fighters are undergoing cancer treatment.
- 🏥 Paediatric hospital wards, bringing comfort to children facing illness, surgery and extended hospital stays.
- 🏠 Children's homes and places of safety, where vulnerable children need reassurance, kindness and something special to call their own.
- 🌍 Rural and underserved communities, ensuring that children outside our major cities are not forgotten.
For many of these children, a teddy bear is so much more than a toy. It becomes a companion during difficult hospital treatments, something to hold when they are scared, and a reminder that someone out there cares.
