🦁 A NEW ROAR IN THE KINGDOM OF ESWATINI! 🦁🇸🇿
While some of our Lions were enjoying fellowship at the Zone Meeting, two of our members hit the road for the Kingdom of Eswatini to witness something truly special — the chartering of the Lions Club of Mbabane, the newest Club in District 410E and Multiple District 410! 🎉
What an incredible group of dynamic new Lions! 🌟 And the heartfelt acceptance speech by newly elected Lion President Julia left no doubt about the vision, passion and purpose driving this Club.
Their mission is beautifully simple… WE SERVE. ❤️🦁

There was more than just great fellowship happening at the Zone 4 Meeting on 22 August — there was a wonderful sharing of VISION! 🌟
Lion President Natalie Laas from the Lions Club of Pretoria Jakaranda handed over boxes of donated spectacle frames to Lions BrightSight Chairperson Donovan Henri — and yes, our President certainly wears a few hats! 🎩🦁😄
A HUGE thank you to the Lions Club of Pretoria Jakaranda for helping to keep Lions BrightSight well stocked with frames. 🙌👓

As August draws to a close — a month celebrating Women, Youth and Humanitarian Service — the Lions Club of Midrand pauses to reflect. 💙🦁
Not to gloat. Not to compete. But simply to remind ourselves why we are Lions. 🤗
From bringing joy to Retirement Homes 🏡, providing meals to Creches 🍲, giving the gift of Sight 👁️, supporting families and communities, and so much more — every act of service makes a difference.
And then there are the memories… like our Convention, where our Lions both Ladies and Gents certainly cleaned up real good! 😍✨🦁
Behind every project is a heart that cares, hands willing to serve, and a community made just a little better.

🍷🧠 WHERE DO WE EVEN BEGIN?! 🎉
The Lions Club of Midrand Wine & Wisdom Fundraiser on Sunday 16 August was an absolute BLAST! 🦁🍷🎉
A HUGE thank you to all our amazing friends, family and Lions who came along and supported us — without YOU, this event simply wouldn’t have been the success it was! ❤️👏
And then there’s our incredible Lions team who made sure the Build-a-Burger catering was absolutely par excellence 🍔👩‍🍳👨‍🍳 — from cooking and setting up to making sure everyone was well fed… and for some of us, there was definitely food for the brain too! 🤓😂
There was plenty of laughter, fun, friendly rivalry and questionable answers! 🤣
🏆 And the results are in!
The defending champions were relegated to 2nd place by just 0.5 of a point! 😱👏 Talk about a nail-biter!
🥇 Well done to our 1st Place Team!
🥈 Congratulations to the defending champions on 2nd!
🥉 And a huge well done to our 3rd Place Team!
Our quiz favourites? “Identify These Songs” and “Riddles”… NOT! 😂🎶🤔
We’re still seriously questioning our Quiz Master’s music preferences! 🎵🤣
