🔵⚪ TABLER TUESDAY ⚪🔵

🙌 This week we honour a true legend of Round Table 126…

Donavan “Kraai” Reed 🎉

An old-school Tabler and loyal brother through and through, Donavan is the kind of man you can always count on. No matter the challenge, no matter the hour, if help is needed, Kraai is already on the way. ✈️💪

Known for his reliability, steady nature, and willingness to lend a hand without hesitation, Donavan has built a reputation as someone who always shows up when it matters most.

Outside of Table, he’s an incredibly hardworking businessman who pours the same dedication and commitment into everything he does. His impact reaches far beyond business though. Donavan continuously gives back to the Middelburg and Mhluzi communities, helping uplift and support those around him wherever he can. 🤝🏘️

Men like Kraai are rare, dependable, humble, hardworking, and always ready to serve others. A true example of what Round Table brotherhood is all about. 🔵⚪

We appreciate you, Kraai. Thank you for always being there. 🥂

🔵 Tabler Tuesday | Meet our Chairman

Every Table needs a rock. Ours comes in the form of Ejnar “Magic Mike” Erichsen. 💙

A proud family man, businessman and the driving force behind DELE Enterprises — Ejnar brings that same rock solid dedication to everything he does at Middelburg 126.

He keeps the Table in line, holds the compass steady and makes sure no Tabler is ever left without support when they need it most. The kind of chairman who leads quietly but firmly. Always dependable.

Weakness: Long meetings. 😄
Retreat: Only when needed.

🔵 The Quiet Leader |

He is not always the one making the speech.

He is the one who arrived early to set up the chairs. The one who stayed late to pack up. The one who quietly picked up the phone when a fellow Tabler needed help.

He does not lead for recognition. He leads because it is who he is.

At Round Table Middelburg 126 we believe that real leadership is not a title. It is a choice you make every single day. In your community. In your workplace. At the Table.

This Monday we salute every quiet leader in our midst. You know who you are. 💙

Are you that kind of man? Or do you know someone who is? Round Table is where they belong.

👇 Send us a message and come find your Table.

🔵 The Rondel |

You have seen it on our shirts, our banners and our social pages. But do you know what it actually means?

The Rondel is the official emblem of Round Table International and it is far more than just a logo.

At its centre sits a globe, representing global connectivity and international unity. Around it, black and white stripes form a circle, symbolising the equality of every member seated at the Table. No hierarchy. No head of the table. Every man equal.

At the top sits a king figure, a nod to the values of chivalry, service and shared purpose that have defined the movement since 1927.

Each country puts its own mark on the Rondel too. In South Africa we proudly have a springbok with green background. The symbol at the centre represents something uniquely national, a reminder that while we are part of a global brotherhood, our roots and our identity matter. 🇿🇦

For Tablers, the Rondel is not just a badge. It is a reminder of why we show up, what we stand for, and the thousands of men across 65 countries who stand alongside us.

Wear it with pride. 💙

🔵 What is Round Table? |

It all started with a speech

In speech in front of Rotarians he stated:
There are things we must do,
there are things we can do
and there are things we should do.

In 1927, the Prince of Wales inspired a young Norwich businessman named Louis Marchesi to gather young men around a table to exchange ideas, serve their communities and build real friendships. Round Table was born.

By 1948 it had reached South African shores when Dr David Smith started the very first Table in East London. ARTSA was formally established in 1951 and today boasts 239 Tables and around 700 members across Southern Africa. Middelburg 126 is proudly one of them, and has been for the past 60 years.

Round Table is a brotherhood of young men between 18 and 40. No politics. No religion. Just ordinary guys doing extraordinary things for their communities.

Think you have got what it takes?
Send us a message. We would love to tell you more over a coffee.

🚗💨 | Fellowship Friday with a twist — August 2024

Last year, Round Table Middelburg 126 fired up the engines for one of our most unforgettable Fellowship Fridays yet! 🔥

We welcomed the guys from Round Table Sandown 150 and the Cannonball Run drivers for a night to remember — stunning sport cars, a legendary rooibok spit, Twizza drinks flowing, and enough laughter to fuel any road trip. 🍖🏁

We played our part true to the motto — Adopt, Adapt and Improve — and sent those Cannonball crews off with full tanks and full hearts. 🙌

A massive shoutout to Round Table Sandown 150 for bringing the energy and including us on the journey, and to Twizza for keeping everyone hydrated and happy!

To everyone who was there that night — drop a 🚗 in the comments if you remember it!

🔵 What is Round Table? |

Ever driven past our banner or heard someone mention Round Table and wondered… “what exactly is that?”

We get it. The name sounds mysterious. 🤔
Round Table is a brotherhood of young men between 18 and 40 who come together for two things:

🤝 Fellowship — real friendships built around a shared table
🌍 Service — making a tangible difference in our community

We are not a political party. Not a religious organisation. Not a secret society 😄

We are just a group of ordinary guys from Middelburg doing extraordinary things together. Whether that is raising funds for a local school, organising community projects, or simply showing up for each other.

Middelburg 126 has been part of this movement for 60 years and we are always looking for the next great Tabler.

Think you have got what it takes? Or know someone who does?

👇 Drop a comment or send us a message. We would love to buy you a coffee and tell you more.

🔵⚪ MEET A TABLER TUESDAY ⚪🔵

🙌 This week we shine the spotlight on a man who needs little introduction…
Gavin “Jaja” Geldenhuys 🎉

A long-time member of Table 126, Gavin has worn many hats over the years, serving as both Chairman and Treasurer, and continuing to show up as a proud Joe Tabler to this day.

Off the table, he’s a loving husband and proud father of two boys, his greatest achievement by far! 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦
As a hardworking businessman, Gavin doesn’t stop there, he gives generously of his time and energy to uplift the Middelburg and Mhluzi communities, making a real difference where it counts. 🤝🏘️

There’s a reason Gavin is considered the backbone of Table 126, he’s the guy who shows up, steps up, and always has your back.
A true pillar of our brotherhood. 💪🔵

We see you, Jaja. We appreciate you. Here’s to you! 🥂
