In 2016 Raphael from Switzerland got married to a beautiful young lady from the township Mamelodi in the east of Pretoria. Her name Gontse means "it is well". She brought 2 boys Boipelo and Kopano into the marriage. Seven months later they also care for her two orphaned nieces Tshegofatso and Refilwe. The mission minded couple has a big heart for the youth in South Africa. Their aim is to recover
hope where people seem hopeless. They work with different ministries and partners. Raphy works with drug addicts at "Teen Challenge", and Gontse is invovled with the young adults in the ABET school as well as the kids in the afterschool program of "Beam Africa Network". They also partner with a preschool called "Bright Beginnings" in Mamelodi which focuses on orphans and vulnerable children. Our Mission:
Through the gospel of Jesus Christ we want to plant seeds of hope in the young generation. Specifically disadvantaged people who grow up
• without perspective,
• trapped in poverty,
• bound by drugs or alcohol,
• violated or abused,
• without role models and fathers,
• poorly educated,
• or in hopelessness. Our Vision:
We want to see young people full of hope for a better future, overcoming poverty and addiction, freed from their past, able to forgive, filled with God’s peace and full of passion walking in their God-given purpose. Our Strategy:
Engage with disadvantaged young people by
• Discipling them on living in the truth and following Jesus
• Equipping, teaching and training them to improve career opportunities
• Counselling them so that God can set them free from their past and heal their souls
• mentoring/fathering them to help how to practically follow Jesus
