The National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC) is inviting eligible South African students to apply for its 2027 External Bursary Programme.
The bursary provides:

Our National Youth Service Phase 5 Servers were hard at work cleaning V-drains around Mpophomeni today โ€” clearing blockages, removing debris, and helping prevent flooding in our community! ๐ŸŒง๏ธ

On 12 August 2026, uMngeni Unemployed Graduates Forum welcomed the Southern African Association of Youth Clubs (SAAYC) for a site visit and organisational assessment.

The visit provided an opportunity to assess MUGFโ€™s organisational capacity, governance, programmes, administration, financial management, stakeholder relationships and overall operations.

We are proud to share that MUGF achieved an ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ฌ๐œ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ 90%, reflecting strong governance structures, effective programme implementation, sound management systems and outstanding stakeholder relationships.

The assessment also highlighted areas for continued improvement, including organisational capacity, financial sustainability, fundraising, performance measurement and impact evaluation.

MUGF appreciates the valuable feedback and guidance received from SAAYC. We remain committed to continuous improvement and to strengthening our organisationโ€™s ability to serve and empower our community.
