ies; uplifting the standard of living where ever we go, starting from Buffalo City, to our province, to our country, and ultimately, to the whole world. Why '3 Eden Ministries’? When God gave Professor Andile Myemane the Vision – Jesus Christ Family International, He gave Him the foundation of Christ in a form of 3 Gardens that were of the Lord. These 3 Gardens are; the Garden of Eden, the Garden of Gethsemane and the Garden of Calvary. These 3 Gardens represent the work of Christ in our lives. The Garden of Eden (Eden 1): Christ in me. Man was banished from the Garden of Eden for eating from the forbidden tree. Eden was a dwelling place as Christ is a dwelling place (Acts 17: 28). So Adam in Eden is a type of man in Christ. Now that we are born again, we are taken back to Eden (Christ) where man had a solid fellowship with God (Genesis 2: 8). The Garden of Gethsemane (Eden 2): Christ renewing my mind. Gethsemane was always a spot where Jesus took His disciples for prayer and that is where He prayed about the will of God to be done in His life (Mark 14: 35). Because of that, it makes that garden to be the garden of the Lord. Why are we linking Gethsemane with the mind? It is because the mind is in the soul. Jesus was pouring out his soul in the garden of Gethsemane because of the souls of men. His soul was exceedingly sorrowful in exchange for our souls to be renewed. The Garden of Calvary (Eden 3): Christ healing my body. In John 19: 41, the bible says, “In the place where Jesus was crucified, there was a garden…” Again, that garden means something; in the bible there are no meaningless details. Christ could not be crucified anywhere, He had to be crucified in the garden of Calvary so as for man to go back to the Garden of Eden (Christ). His body was bruised for our healing and prosperity (Isaiah 53: 3-5). Jesus died and rose from the garden of Cal
vary, hence we say Calvary is a garden of the Lord. If you read Isaiah 53: 3-5, you find that Jesus made us whole in spirit, soul and body. We also get this in the book of 1 Thessalonians 5: 23, Paul says, “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Let’s see how Jesus made us whole according to Isaiah 53: 3-5:
(a) Spirit - Eden 1 - Christ in me: Jesus was despised so that we may be esteemed. He was rejected so that we may be accepted by God. He was a man of sorrow so that we may know no sorrows when Christ is in us. Isaiah 53: 3 - “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. (b) Soul - Eden 2 - Christ renewing my mind: Jesus was afflicted so that we may have peace that surpasses all understanding. Verse 4 - Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. (c) Body - Eden 3 - Christ healing my body: Jesus was wounded and bruised so that we may be healed. Verse 5 - But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
The work of 3 Eden Ministries:
Through 3 Eden Ministries, Jesus Christ Family International is going to be taken to the whole world. For instance, the name ‘Jesus Christ Family International’ has got boundaries, but the purpose of God about Jesus Christ Family International has no boundaries. Therefore, 3 Eden Ministries is there to be the vehicle that will take God’s purpose about Jesus Christ Family International to the whole world.
