Ntataise Lowveld Ntataise Lowveld, Training women from less privileged communities in Mpumalanga in Early Childhood Development. Renowned for Toy & Book Library, PlayGroups

Ntataise Lowveld has been in operation since 1986, essentially to empower and train community - based women in Early Childhood Development. Ntataise Lowveld presents courses and workshops, from baby-care and toddler, Enrichment and ETDP SETA accredited NQF Level 4 in ECD. Ntataise Lowveld's training programmes are designed to be an in-depth, Trainer to Practitioner holistic intervention, covering

the many aspects of the development of the young child. Our qualified Trainers visit each Practitioner on a regular basis at her particular school, giving 'hands on' personal training and assistance. This results in well-trained Practitioners, who are able to pass on their skills to the children in their respective schools. Our training courses provide empowerment and employment for the less privileged community-based women, who in turn develop and stimulate the children in their care, thus preparing them for life long learning. Ntataise Lowveld endeavours to train Practitioners to be proud of their profession, passionate about the children in their care, and totally committed to teaching. Our wish is to ensure that children receive a quality foundation, that will give them a 'head start' to be able to deal with any type of education scenario thereafter. Our Programmes include:
Training: ETDP SETA accredited ECD NQF
Level 4
Toy and Book, Enrichment, Babies and Toddlers and Play-Groups( in areas where ECD centres are not accessible.

Turning Trash into Treasure - and Letdowns into Comebacks!

Hi ECD Champions 👋

So… Mexico had their moment yesterday 🇲🇽⚽
And we’re feeling it this today. 💛💚

But here’s the thing - just like a bottle cap or a cardboard box can look like trash but become something magical with a little imagination…

✨ A letdown can also be a recharge in disguise.

LONG WEEKEND SAFETY REMINDER💝💝

As we approach the long weekend, let's remember to keep our little ones safe.
Children are full of energy, curiosity, and adventure, which is why they need our extra care and supervision during this time.
Whether they are playing outdoors, visiting family, travelling, or enjoying community activities, let's make safety a priority.

🌱 Look at our Mbombela office and think about the knowledge behind these walls.😃😀

We are not just about learning.
We are ECD.
We are the foundation builders, the trainers, the supporters, the hands that have shaped early childhood development in communities for years.

Did you know?

ECD centres can create learning materials from recyclable items such as cardboard boxes, bottle tops, egg cartons, plastic containers, and newspapers instead of purchasing expensive resources.

Practical Ideas for Practitioners💡

Use bottle tops for counting, sorting, and pattern-making activities.
Create puzzles and matching games from recycled cardboard.😀
Make musical instruments from tins, bottles, and containers.
Use cartons and boxes for construction and imaginative play.
Set up recycling stations in the classroom and involve children in sorting materials.
