Today we are saying a huge thank you to Denise for sewing these beautiful fabric bags for GRIP. 🪡💜
Our care packs provide essential items to Survivors of Sexual Assault, and now those items can be given in a beautiful, reusable bag, adding a little extra dignity, care and kindness when it matters most.

The Mpumalanga NPO Expo is happening this Friday, and GRIP will be there! 💜An opportunity for NPOs, businesses, community organisations and members of the public to connect, share ideas and build meaningful partnerships.
Come along on 9 October from 11h30 (FREE PUBLIC ACCESS at the Ehlanzeni Disaster Centre and stop by our stand.

GRIP is heading to the Mpumalanga NPO Expo!
We are excited to be exhibiting on 9 October at the Ehlanzeni Disaster Centre, Ehlanzeni District Municipality, from 09h00.

After a sexual assault, there can be so much to take in. Knowing what medical care you may need, including a forensic examination and preventative medication. How important do you think it is to seek this care after a sexual assault?

We have the towels, now we need the stitches! 💜
We have 100 hand towels ready to be transformed into facecloths for our GRIP care packs.
The idea is simple: cut each towel in half and sew around the raw edges, which means our 100 towels could become around 200 facecloths for survivors. 💜
Now we are please looking for one or two volunteers who enjoy sewing and would be willing to help us with this little project.

THANKFUL THURSDAY 💜

Today we are saying a big thank you to Ruggedwear for once again thinking of GRIP and supporting our care packs.

We asked if they had facecloths available, and although they didn't have any this time, they found another way to help. 100 hand towels!

And with a little cutting, sewing and some creative thinking, those 100 hand towels could become around 200 facecloths for our care packs. 🧵💜

We love the idea that a donation can be made to go even further.
