UPDATE: We have a new interview date!
Our interview with Jacaranda FM did not go ahead as planned on Tuesday, but we're pleased to let you know that it has been rescheduled.
Join GRIP's CEO, Tarryn Lokotsch, as she chats to Sascha van Gelder on Jacaranda 94.2 tomorrow, Thursday 4 June, at around 12:40pm.
They'll be discussing the upcoming SPAR Women's Challenge Lowveld and the work GRIP - GBV Intervention Project does to support survivors of gender-based violence.

🚧 Breaking Ground for Hope at Tintswalo Hospital! 💜
On 27 May, an exciting new chapter began for GRIP and the survivors we serve.
For many years, our Tintswalo Care Room has operated from an ageing dilapidated container that has provided a safe space for survivors of r**e and gender-based violence during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. While it has served us well, the time has come for a fresh start.
Thanks to the incredible generosity and dedication of Dr Teun from the Netherlands, who successfully raised the funds needed, GRIP will soon have a brand-new, secure, and welcoming container care room at Tintswalo Hospital.
This photo captures a special moment as representing the GRIP team and the Tintswalo Hospital team came together to break ground and celebrate the start of this exciting project. 🎉
Every improvement to our facilities means a more dignified, private, and supportive environment for survivors accessing our services.
We are deeply grateful to Dr Teun and everyone who has contributed towards making this dream a reality. 💜
Watch this space! We will be sharing updates as the project progresses and cannot wait to take you along on this journey.

Our PowerGirls had a wonderful session this week, filled with learning, laughter, and a special birthday celebration picnic! 🎂🌸
🌱 Langa Team
The girls explored Mental Health: Understanding Emotions (Part 1), learning about different emotions, how to identify them, and why it is important to express feelings in healthy ways.
💰 Naledi Team
The girls focused on Financial Literacy, discussing smart money choices and the importance of spending wisely, saving for the future, and sharing with others.
