Ways to report illegal advertising of animals on Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp! 🐾

𝗪𝗔𝗬𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦, 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗦, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 “𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘” 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗦‼️

Meta does not permit the sale of live animals on any of its platforms, including Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram.

𝙎𝙚𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚?

1️⃣Take a screenshot with all the details showing (click on "see more").
2️⃣Then report to the group admins if it appears in a group.
3️⃣Then report it to Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp (after reporting to admins)

If Facebook says it doesn't go against community standards, then choose the review option and say that "Facebook doesn't understand the intent" of the post.

4️⃣Hiding the price or calling it “rehoming” or “adoption” when it is not, is deliberate deception under the Consumer Protection Act Sections 29 and 41. Report them to the National Consumers Commission (NCC).

5️⃣Report those who request cash, especially to SARS.

6️⃣Report them to us at "Submit Report" (top right of our website), with the screenshot and any other information you may have. Our first focus is on 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦 (anyone who allows an animal to create offspring, even your neighbour) as well as 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗦 of any pets.

If the admins refuse to remove such posts on social media, report them to us with as much detail as possible. You can also report “free to good home” ads to us.

📝𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘 While current legislation does not yet prohibit it, your reports help us map out the scale of the problem and build a database that will ensure these operators are the first to be visited once new laws are enacted.

What a delightfully .......wonderful evening it was. 🐾

There were several tables of extraordinary and determined competitors pitting their wits against each other, in a perfectly iconic venue, with a skilled witty Quizmaster delux and a delicious supper expertly provided by amazing power duo Marie and Eric! ❤️

AMAZEBALLS united camaraderie, and super great fun prevailed and were all the winners in the end.😻

Not only has he assisted in showing us the boundry lines of the property he and his gorgeous Mom, Marie, have donated, but also offering any salvage we can get from some old cabins on their bordering property. Last phase of the move to our very own premises. 🫶

The move has been challenging and expensive but also hugely rewarding.💪

Thank you a million times over to all who made this possible.🙏

Our shelter doggos are enjoying 24/7 loving attention from our LEGENDARY Jumbo.💖

We are asking our amazing supporters for any precious donations towards the expenses incurred which would be humbly received! 🙏💓

For instance, a basic lunch for 7 workers yesterday cost just over R300. 😬

Then there is food for the doggos and a bit of fuel for riding up and down!!🙏🐈‍⬛🐾🐶

Thank you so much to the absolutely wonderful Botha family for opening your home and hearts to our beautiful shelter dogs while we worked tirelessly to rehome them. Your abundant kindness, patience, and generosity truly made a difference during this time.💖

We’re happy to share that the dogs have now safely been moved to our Mabaso Animal Shelter, where they will continue their journey to finding loving forever homes.🫶

Thank you million times over for the amazing Alpha guys who went the extra 100 miles....drove to PPC, picked up the 7m pole ....brought it back to site and successfully installed the wifi... only leaving Mbazwana around 05h30pm!! 💪✨️💫
