We are proud to partner with The Rooted Twins on Theatre By The Sea.

On 17 October, The Rooted Twins joined Lucky Cele on Art on the Move, on Vibe FM 94.7, to talk about the Theatre By The Sea Arts Festival. We are proud to be their partners, and we are grateful to hear Letsatsi Foundation mentioned on air.

Festivals like this exist because someone decides that art deserves a stage, and that artists from smaller towns should be on it. That is why this partnership means so much to us.

On 25 October, Letsatsi Foundation presents Day 487 at Theatre By The Sea in South Beach, Durban. It is a twenty-minute original South African production, written and directed by Thapelo Molaolwa, and performed by emerging artists from Matatiele. It is about grief, faith and the things a community chooses not to say. We will tell you no more than that. You will have to see it.

📅 25 October 2026
📍 South Beach, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal

Our cast still needs to get there. We are raising R8,000 for return transport, and the campaign closes on 23 October, three days from now. R0.00 raised so far.If you can give, any amount helps. If you can't, share this post with someone who would want to see it.

Thank you to Vibe FM 94.7, to Lucky Cele, and to The Rooted Twins for giving the festival, and us, a voice.

Banking details are in the first comment and on the poster.
Same story. A wider stage.
