Thank you to the Susan Farrell and the Margate Methodist Church Ladies and Gents for holding a Spring Tea for our precious children on Saturday 5 September. The children had so much fun and were spoiled beyond their imagination. We can't thank you enough for the joy and excited that you brought. All your efforts preparing such a wonderful event is sincerely and greatly appreciated. Thank you to our Supervisor Zipho, and Social Workers Andy and Bongekile for being there to ensure the transportation of the children went without a hitch and enjoying the day with them.

For Women's Month our social worker Gaylon took her event to another level. This time it wasn't just about a presentation, Gaylon got her ladies up and about with the assistance of her gym instructor, Kelvin (aka Mr. Pain). They all had various games they played to keep them active. They each received a rose arm band and snacks were provided. Everyone had so much fun, they actually wanted to know when the next meeting was being held. Well done Gaylon and a huge shout out to Kelvin (aka Mr. Pain) for taking time out of your day to make this memorable.

On Saturday 18 July, Nelson Mandela Day, Hopkins Kwikspar Manaba reached out to us to ensure that around 100 children were blessed. The partnership in programmes like this is extremely important and it reaches so many. Thank you to Manaba Spar, Ashoda and your team, our dedicated social workers Andiswa, Gaylon and Nkosinathi and our student Celisiwe. You all did a fabulous job.

Our social worker Zipho visited the Delihlazo Primary School in Gclima to speak to the children about Child Protection. This entails teaching children about safeguarding themselves against abuse, neglect and exploitation. Children need to be cared for and protected. Well done, Zipho.

Your donations reach those who so desperately need it. Thank you to social worker Zipho who took a substantial amount to clients in the Thokothe Ward 7 Area. Children and adults were blessed.
