Statistics
A recent UNICEF study shows that early intervention is very important. It pointed out that children in rural areas often do not get enough early learning and basic schooling.
Learning gaps at the start of education can predict how well children will do later.
If children fall behind early, they are more likely to drop out of school later.
Our goal is to help farm children grow into healthy, educated adults who can contribute to our community and country.
LDC started in 2012 with 10 children of farm workers. Over the years, we have helped 411 children.
