MAOKENG COMMUNITY POLICING FORUM (CPF)
EXIT SURVEY REPORT
Date: 29 April 2026
Venue: Maokeng Police Station
Time:10:00-17:00
Subject: Report on Exit Survey Conducted at Maokeng Police Station
Maokeng Community Policing Forum (CPF) conducted an exit survey at Maokeng Police Station today, 29 April 2026. The purpose of the survey was to engage community members who had visited the station and to assess their experiences regarding service delivery.
The objectives of the survey were as follows:
To determine the level of satisfaction among community members regarding the services rendered at the station.
To establish whether community members are aware of the role and functions of the Community Policing Forum.
To gather suggestions on how service delivery at the station can be improved.
During the survey, several community members were interviewed. While many appreciated the assistance provided by police officials, a significant concern raised was the lengthy waiting period before receiving assistance. Community members indicated that they often spend a considerable amount of time waiting to be attended to.
Furthermore, members of the public expressed the view that Maokeng SAPS requires additional manpower to improve efficiency and reduce waiting times. They believe that an increase in personnel would greatly enhance service delivery and ensure that community members receive prompt assistance.
The survey also provided an opportunity to educate community members about the role of the CPF and to encourage greater community participation in crime prevention initiatives.
Maokeng CPF remains committed to working closely with SAPS and the community to promote effective policing and improved service delivery.
Yours faithfully,
Maokeng Community Policing Forum
