We’re writing to share an important update about DonaHub.
From 30 September 2026, crowdfunding will no longer be available on our platform. All active campaigns will be closed on that date, and we will stop accepting new donations and new campaign listings.
What this means for you
If you have raised funds through crowdfunding
Any outstanding crowdfunding balances will be paid out to your verified banking details. Please make sure your profile and banking information are up to date so we can process payouts without delay.
If you are running a campaign
Your campaign will be closed on 30 September 2026. Please wrap up any final communications with your supporters before then.
If you have supported campaigns
Thank you for your generosity. Existing donations remain recorded on the platform; only the crowdfunding product itself is being discontinued.
Where we’re headed
Going forward, DonaHub will focus fully on Event Services — creating events, selling tickets, managing stalls and tables, and helping organisers host memorable experiences across South Africa.
If you already use Events on DonaHub, nothing changes for your events, tickets, or event earnings. If you haven’t tried Events yet, we’d love for you to explore what’s possible at donahub.co.za.
