Malvern Child and Youth Care Centre A safe haven for vulnerable and orphaned children between the ages of 3 to 18years

The home has 11 separate houses on the premises each with its own house parents (child care workers). The purpose of this system is to create a “homely’ environment where the children can bond and relate to each other in a family atmosphere and where they can experience love and a sense of belonging. Our developmental programmes provides physical, spiritual, psychological, educational and social support to all children between the ages of 3- 18 years with multi-disciplinary approach.

Malvern Children’s home in Durban-caring for orphaned, abandoned and neglected children-is facing one of its toughest crises yet. Our electricity and water bill has reached close to R 1 million. Without help, the very place that gives these children safety and hope is at risk.
