The Goue Jare Dienssentrum 40th Celebration, 18 October 2025 was the biggest event and achievement for us. It was a challenge to organise the event due to available funds. Due to God Grace the event was a success where various stakeholders and donors got involve to ensure that the Elderly had a marvellous night. The elderly was all dressed up for the event and was very emotional as it was the 1st actual celebration and that so big. The attendance from the community was very imprssive as there were different aga group who came to support and celebrate the achieve with the Elderly of Malmesbury. The décor was stylish and there was a 3-meal course which included 2 lovely desserts.
Various awards were sponsored to make the event much more fun. Those who attend the event was also receiving awards. The Elderly people was so excited for the event and made the best of it. They requested to have more of the events as it made them feel younger. The stakeholders and donors played a big role in making this event a success and as the organiser of the Event Mrs Veronica van Harte looks forward to work with the community to ensure that we create a environment for the Elderly to enjoy their Golden Years on earth. Mrs Veronica also requested that the community should contact the organisation if they are interested in adopting a Elderly.
