The LifeLine Mafikeng Centre has trained counsellors offering general counselling including bereavement counselling, family counselling, couples counselling and all forms of individual problem counselling. Also on site we have a HTS non-medical site offering confidential HIV counselling and testing free of charge. LifeLine Mafikeng has two mobile units that visit farms, informal settlements, colle
ges and villages in Ngaka Modiri Molema district offering HTS to individuals and couples, and referrals to local health care facilities for further management. Our work is supported by DoH through provision of HIV test kits and other non-medical consumables. Mafikeng Crisis Centre
LifeLine Mafikeng manages the Mafikeng Crisis Centre which operates 24/7. The centre takes in domestic violence victims for up to five days, and during the stay, the victims receive counselling from Emotional Wellness Workers and Social workers placed at the centre.. LifeLine Mafikeng placed counsellors the Mafikeng Thuthuzela Care Centre situated at Mafikeng Provincial Hospital. The TCC provides medicolegal, psychological support and containment to victims of r**e and sexual assault. Our highly-trained counsellors work 24/7 providing HCT and adherence counselling to the survivors. LifeLine Mafikeng conducts Personal Growth, Communication Skills, HIV & AIDS Empowerment Positive Parenting Training to Individuals & Groups . LLM provides free training to unemployed youth in return for volunteering their services at LifeLine Center. As an NGO, all the funds made from training are ploughed back into the organisation so as to be able to offer our services for free.
