The "U=U" campaign!

The "U=U" campaign, also known as "Undetectable = Untransmittable," is a global movement that aims to spread awareness about the fact that people living with HIV who have achieved and maintained an undetectable viral load through antiretroviral therapy (ART) cannot s*xually transmit the virus to others.

The campaign has gained widespread support from the scientific community, healthcare organizations, and advocacy groups worldwide. It has also inspired numerous awareness campaigns, events, and educational materials.

Some key points about "U=U" include:

- People living with HIV on effective treatment (ART) can achieve an undetectable viral load.
- An undetectable viral load means the virus is not detectable in blood tests.
- When someone has an undetectable viral load, they cannot s*xually transmit HIV to others.
- "U=U" applies to all types of s*xual transmission, including vaginal, a**l, and oral s*x.
- "U=U" does not apply to other forms of transmission, such as sharing needles
