🌟 Help Keep the Lights On & Bring Warmth to Reatlegile Disability Centre! ❀️
In the heart of Mahikeng (Mafikeng), North West Province, the FOND Foundation is working hard to support children and adults with disabilities at Reatlegile Disability Centre.
But right now, they're struggling to keep the lights on and provide basic warmth during the cold winter months. Every donation helps cover electricity, heating, and essential care so these vulnerable members of our community aren't left in the dark or cold.
πŸ’‘ Your support can make a real difference:
Keep the centre running safely
Provide warmth and comfort
Support those who need it most

FOND Foundation is launching a fundraising appeal to support children at Reatlegile Disability Center in Tsetse Village. The center requires immediate assistance with heaters, carpets, warm clothing, shoes, toiletries, and non-perishable food items. Every contribution, big or small, will bring warmth, comfort, and dignity to children with disabilities during this cold season. If you would like to donate or assist, please contact us for more details, including clothing and shoe sizes. We appreciate your support and would be grateful if you could share this appeal with others.

Keeping the Light On: Support FOND Foundation and Reatlegile Disability Centre. The Family of Neurodevelopmental Disorders (FOND) Foundation is dedicated to supporting families with children with autism, intellectual disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental conditions in the North West Province. Through awareness events, parent support programs, advocacy initiatives, and community outreach programs, FOND works tirelessly to reduce stigma and promote inclusion. However, the foundation's limited resources pose significant challenges, and Reatlegile Disability Centre, one of the centers we support, faces practical hardships affecting the daily comfort and dignity of its learners. With your support, we can sustain FOND's operations, provide warm clothing and heating for Reatlegile, and cover associated costs. We are committed to transparency and impact reporting, ensuring that every donation directly impacts a child's life. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of neurodiverse children and provide them with the warmth, opportunity, and acceptance they deserve. FOND Foundation Team & Reatlegile Disability Centre Family.

πŸ’™ From the Bottom of Our Hearts – Thank You πŸ’™
Last night’s 4th Annual Autism Awareness Gala Dinner was more than just an event… it was a beautiful, emotional gathering of hope, love, and unity that will stay in our hearts for a very long time.
We at F.O.N.D Foundation are still overwhelmed with gratitude as we reflect on the incredible evening we shared with you all. Seeing families, advocates, friends, and supporters come together to celebrate neurodiversity filled the room with so much joy, strength, and renewed purpose.
Thank you to every single person who attended, danced, shared stories, opened your hearts, and contributed so generously. Your presence truly meant the world to us and to every family touched by autism and neurodevelopmental disorders.
We are especially grateful to our cherished partners:
North West Provincial Disability Forum
North West Disability Rights Office
Your unwavering support made this night even more meaningful.
A very special thank you to our distinguished guest speakers:
Dr Tumelo Leeuw, Dineo Mosiane, Carmen Dlamini, Gomotsegang Mabyane, Tshegofatso Mmolawa, Kelebogile Motaung, Mr Kalamore, and Zekwande Mathenjwa together with his inspiring Foundation and family. Your powerful voices, personal stories, and commitment deeply touched everyone in the room and reminded us all of the strength and brilliance within the autism community.
We also extend heartfelt appreciation to our fantastic Masters of Ceremony β€” Tshepiso Lefenyo and Mmapaseka Meloreng β€” for guiding the evening with warmth, professionalism, and energy.
Special thanks to Thapelo Motlogi, Disability Rights Officer at the Office of the Premier, for your dedication and for helping make this night possible.
To our sponsors, talented performers, dedicated volunteers, and the entire F.O.N.D team β€” thank you for pouring your hearts into making this 4th gala truly unforgettable. Every smile, every tear, and every moment of connection last night was priceless.
Because of all of you, we are one step closer to a world where every child and adult on the spectrum feels seen, valued, and fully supported. You didn’t just attend β€” you helped us shine a brighter light on neurodiversity.
If you have photos or videos from the night, please share them with us. We want to relive these beautiful memories together. Tag us and use
From our hearts to yours β€” thank you, thank you, thank you.
With endless gratitude and love,
