Today, 18/06/2026 we hosted the Memorial Service for our late colleague Ms M. G. Seruthu.

We would like to thank the Seruthu Family, the FAMSA Board of Management committee members, FAMSA staff members, neighbors of FAMSA, officials from the Department of Social Development Provincial Office, Imperial Reserve and Extension 38 Community members for joining us as we celebrated the life of our colleague.

We would also like to extend a hand of gratitude to the Sanctuary of Worship Church for allowing us to use their premises as a venue 🙏, seatla godimo ga se sengwe.

We believe that Ms Seruthu's soul will rest in eternal peace 🙏

Good evening

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of one of our own, Ms Mphonyana Gloria Seruthu who served as a family supporter and housekeeper in our office from April 2025 to June 2026. She welcomed our clients with a smile and knocked in many of our community members' homes with intention to help and restore. We are grateful as an office to having served humanity alongside such a bubbly personality. She will be greatly missed and we pray that her soul makes it's way to eternal peace 🙏.

Weekly Recap

Yesterday 08 May 2026, we celebrated World Social Work Day together with the 10 years of service awards of 2 of our colleagues Ms Kegomoditswe Daphney Madito our Seniour Social Worker and Ms Sekao Joyce Masibi our Family Supporter. Our Director Ms Mahoko received Ms Masibi's award on her behalf as she was not feeling well. It was a day that the lord had made and we shared a mixture of emotions. Ms Francina Hope Masibi (Former Director of FAMSA Mafikeng) was our guest of honour and she delivered a heart felt key note address.

Special thanks to Ms Francina Hope Masibi (Special Guest) and Mr Lemogang Leshomo (our Resident Pastor). Thanks to all FAMSA Mafikeng staff members for working together towards making this event memorable. 🙏
