Every day I remember the birth of Christ and everything that He has done for me ever since I was born๐Ÿ™. As we pause this season to remember the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ, the one true King. May His presence fill our hearts and homes with grace, peace, and hope. May the joy of His coming inspire us to live with faith, courage, and love, shining His light in every corner of our lives and encouraging others through the quiet confidence of His truth.

Just like snakes ๐Ÿ , not all scorpions are venomous and dangerous โš ๏ธ. The general rule of thumb is: thick tails and small pincers usually mean more potent venom (dangerous), while thin tails and large pincers generally mean less potent venom (harmless to humans)

Meet the ๐œ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ž๐ง๐๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ Table Mountain Ghost Frog (Heleophryne rosei) ๐Ÿธ.

It is found nowhere else in the world beside in about 3 or 4 streams in Table Mountain National Park. The construction ๐Ÿšง of dams ๐Ÿž๏ธand the persistent of alien vegetation (mostly pine trees)๐ŸŒฒputs the Ghost Frog under threat as it reduces the stream flow that is highly needed by their tadpoles and adult frogs to survive.

๐ƒ๐ข๐ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ? The tadpoles of this frog take more than 1 year to full mature or metamorphos into full grow adults.

Sometimes I get swamped with alot of fieldwork, desktop work, photography sessions with bio bashing in between to a point whereby I forget to share some of my accomplishments ๐Ÿ“œ.

I want to take this opportunity and give all the glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. I canโ€™t run away from the fact that honours is a challenging and rigorous year, but for me it was super easy and taking in consideration that I was doing more than extracurricular activities really proves that โ€œ๐ˆ ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐๐จ ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ก๐จ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ง๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐ž", ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐š๐ง๐ฌ 4:13 ๐Ÿ™.

Lastly I want to thank my supervisor, family, friends and acquaintances who made this honours journey worthwhile and conducive for me.
