📢 WE ARE HIRING | MALE OUTREACH VOLUNTEER SUPPORT (1x POST)

Are you passionate about creating positive change in the community of Mabopane? 🌱 Lesedi la Batho Community Centre is looking for a dedicated Male Outreach Volunteer Support to join our team and contribute to impactful community outreach and support programmes.
This is an opportunity to work alongside a committed team, support men, coordinate outreach activities, and help make a meaningful difference.

Minimum Requirements:
✅ Grade 12
✅ At least 6 months' work experience
✅ Facilitation experience
✅ Computer literacy
✅ Ability to communicate in Setswana and English
✅ Social Auxiliary Worker, Social Worker, or Child & Youth Care Worker qualification with current SACSSP registration (added advantage)
✅ Knowledge of Gender-Based Violence programmes (added advantage)
✅ No criminal record (police clearance required upon appointment)
📍 Preference will be given to candidates from Mabopane and surrounding areas.

🌱 Growing Together, Building a Better Future! 🌱

Our agriculture plant production learners had a productive day in the field! Collecting organic compost from the Tshwane landfill site and later sourced seedlings, including spinach, beetroot, onions and tomatoes.
Through great teamwork and dedication, the beneficiaries managed to plant at least half of their seedlings on the very same day. 🌿🥬🍅🧅
A special thank you to our Agriculture Beneficiaries, the Facilitator and the Assistant Facilitators for the commitment, hard work and teamwork that made the day a success. Together, we are planting not only crops, but also the seeds of a better future. 💚🌱

🤝 Bridging Knowledge, Skills & Community Impact

Thank you to University of Pretoria (UP) students for sharing their time and experts with Lesedi la Batho Community Centre as part of their experiential learning and commitment to giving back to the community. 🎓💻
The students are generously contributing their time and technical expertise to support our Skills Training Department, assisting with the improvement and maintenance of our computers and strengthening our Wi-Fi and digital connectivity.
Importantly, this engagement goes beyond technical support—it creates an opportunity for knowledge transfer and skills sharing between the UP students and the Lesedi la Batho Computer Skills Training Team. Through this exchange, our team is gaining practical knowledge and new insights into computer maintenance, troubleshooting, connectivity and digital systems, while the students gain valuable hands-on experience working within a community-based organisation.
We believe that meaningful partnerships are built on mutual learning, collaboration and shared knowledge. By combining academic knowledge with community-based experience, this initiative contributes to strengthening our digital skills training environment and improving the learning experience for our beneficiaries.
