💚 SEPTEMBER IS SU***DE PREVENTION MONTH 💚

Sometimes the person who needs help the most is the one who is smiling, going to work, looking after the children, or simply saying, “I’m fine.”
Su***de prevention starts with not being afraid to ask the question, listening without judgement, and reminding someone that they are not alone.

If you notice someone withdrawing, losing hope, talking about feeling like a burden, giving things away, or saying things like “I can't do this anymore” — don't ignore it. Reach out. Listen. Stay with them. Help them find professional support.
💚 You don't have to have all the answers. Sometimes simply being there can be the first step towards saving a life.
If you or someone you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts or simply needs someone to talk to, please reach out to us.
📞 073 066 8836
You don't have to face the darkness alone.

You matter. We care. We can help.
💚 Together, we can build a community where asking for help is a sign of courage, not weakness.

🌍 WORLD HUMANITARIAN DAY | 19 AUGUST ❤️

“We are all human. We all matter. And we all have the power to make a difference.”

Today, on World Humanitarian Day, we are reminded that humanity is not simply about feeling sorry for someone in need — it is about choosing to care enough to do something.

At Jethro Group, we see every day that humanitarian work comes in many forms.

🍲 A meal for someone who would otherwise go hungry.
💧 Clean drinking water for a community.
🏠 Helping someone find safety from an abusive home.
👩‍👧 Protecting and empowering women and children.
❤️ Sitting with someone who is hurting and reminding them they are not alone.
🌱 Teaching families skills that can help them become self-sufficient.
🤝 Giving someone dignity, hope and the opportunity to build a better tomorrow.

Sometimes we think we need to do something big to change a life.

But humanitarianism often starts with something very small:

Seeing someone.
Listening to someone.
Helping someone.
Caring when you could have walked away.

🌍 The world doesn't need more people asking, “What can I get?”
It needs more people asking, “What can I give?”

This World Humanitarian Day, let's remember that compassion is a choice — and every one of us has the ability to make our little corner of the world a kinder, safer and more hopeful place.

Be the reason someone believes in humanity again. ❤️

Be Kind to Humankind 💚

This week, we’re reminded of something simple—but powerful: kindness matters.

A smile. A kind word. Helping someone who is struggling. Listening without judging. Giving when you can. Choosing compassion when it would be easier not to.

You never know what someone else is carrying, and your small act of kindness could make a bigger difference than you realise. 🌱

At Jethro, we believe that small acts can create big change. Let’s make kindness contagious—not just this week, but every day.

💚 Be kind. Be the change. Be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people.

Tell us: How do YOU make this world a kinder place? 👇

411 CHILDREN. ONE PURPOSE. A BRIGHTER FUTURE. 🌱💚

At Jethro Group, we believe that caring for our communities means investing in the next generation. 🌱

Through our partnership with StartWell Foundation, we were privileged to help provide nutritious meals to 411 children — giving little ones more than just food, but the opportunity to grow, learn, play and thrive. 🍲❤️

This is what partnership looks like: coming together, sharing resources and turning compassion into meaningful action.

We are incredibly grateful to StartWell Foundation and everyone who makes this work possible. Together, we are nourishing young lives and building brighter futures, one child at a time. 💚

💚 Hope Begins with a Full Tummy 💚

We are incredibly grateful to deliver maize meal to Dlamini's Orphanage, helping ensure that 30 precious children have a nourishing meal before they go to bed.

For many of these children, a simple bowl of pap is more than just food—it is comfort, security, and a reminder that they are loved and not forgotten.

This donation was only possible because of the kindness and generosity of our amazing donors. Your compassion is filling empty stomachs, bringing hope to little hearts, and making a real difference in the lives of these children.

Every bag of maize meal represents more than food—it represents people who care enough to make sure no child goes to sleep hungry.

From all of us at Jethro Group NPC, and especially from the children at Dlamini's Orphanage, thank you for partnering with us to bring hope, one meal at a time. ❤️

World Day Against Trafficking in Persons | 30 July

Behind every trafficking statistic is a name, a face, a family, and a life that matters.

Human trafficking is happening closer to home than many people realise. It can affect women, men, and children of any age, background, or community. It thrives on vulnerability, deception, fear, and silence.

Today, we stand with survivors. We remember those who are still trapped, and we commit ourselves to protecting the vulnerable.

Three simple ways you can help fight human trafficking:

🔹 Stay alert. Learn the warning signs and trust your instincts if something doesn't seem right.

🔹 Talk to your children and loved ones. Teach them about online safety, healthy relationships, and the dangers of people who promise jobs, gifts, or opportunities that seem too good to be true.

🔹 Speak up. If you suspect someone may be in danger, don't ignore it. Reporting your concerns could save a life.

At Jethro Group NPC, we believe that every person deserves to live free from exploitation, abuse, and fear. We remain committed to supporting vulnerable individuals, raising awareness, and working alongside our communities to create a safer future for everyone.

🩵 Freedom begins when awareness turns into action.

At Jethro, we believe that every person deserves access to something many of us take for granted—clean, safe drinking water.

Every borehole we drill is more than a construction project. It is a promise of hope, healthier families, stronger communities, and brighter futures. It means children spending less time walking for water and more time in school. It means mothers can prepare meals with clean water. It means dignity, opportunity, and life.

The smiles on the faces of community members remind us why we do what we do. Service isn't just about what we build—it's about the lives we touch along the way.

Thank you to every donor, volunteer, partner, and supporter who makes these projects possible. Together, we are bringing hope where it is needed most.

💧 Clean Water.
❤️ Healthier Families.
🌱 Stronger Communities.
🤝 Serving with Compassion.
🙏 Giving God all the glory.

"Whoever gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones... will certainly not lose their reward." — Matthew 10:42
