Our mission is founded upon Isaiah 61 to rebuild, restore and renew as we co-labour with Yeshua (Jesus) to serve the Living God through the power of the Holy Spirit to fulfill the call for all to experience the freedom found in Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus Christ). The great commission is a calling to which Friend in Need responds by actively serving the community through a range of activities. We believe it is all about reaching the unreached and ministering to them through an attitude of servant hood. Our projects span over gender and cultural boundaries and addresses physical, emotional and spiritual needs that are prevalent in society, but more in particular our local community. Our calling is to serve, honor, disciple and love God’s people well, as stewards and ambassadors of His Kingdom and all that is found in His Presence and Kingdom. We look beyond what the eye can see, through the eyes of our Beloved, Yeshua (Jesus) and His unfailing, never-ending love for His precious people and see the potential hidden in each one waiting to be discovered, nurtured and revealed. Our goal is to assist, empower, encourage and equip disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals and families within our local community to rise above their current circumstances and see Hope restored is their hearts and lives. Our Projects:
* Reach-out: Distribute food, clothing and other necessities to those in need
* Disciple: Bible study for spiritual growth and empowerment
* Educate: Playgroup and Learning centre
* Equip & Develop: Volunteers & Individuals within the community
* Bible distribution & Jesus Film Projects: Proclaim the good news
* Community Upliftment Centre: Maintain and continually improve the community centre
* Local School Support Project: Academic Incentive projects, school clothes & feeding schemes
