Today our hearts are heavy.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved homestay mom, Mama Lovhi.

Mama Lovhi was far more than a host—she was the heart of her home, welcoming every guest with a warm smile, kindness, and genuine love.

Through her generosity, she shared her culture, her stories, and her life with people from all over the world, leaving an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to meet her.

She embodied everything that Traditional African Homestays stands for: dignity, authenticity, community, and the incredible spirit of African hospitality.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of having known and worked alongside her. Her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched and the memories she helped create.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and the entire Makushu community during this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, dear Mama Lovhi. Thank you for opening your home, your heart, and your life to us. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. ❤️🕊️
