Guardian Angels HSLT As the Care Group of HSLT, we take responsibility for the well-being of the students of our school 😇 Die Guardian Angels is gestig in 2007 deur Juf.

Antjie Badenhorst en Ps. Jan Venter as die omgee groep van Hoërskool Louis Trichardt wat huidiglik uit 18 studente en 1 volwassene bestaan. Ons leuse is dit van die skool. Daarom “Waak en Werk” ons vir die welsyn van skooliere d.m.v fondsinsamelings, ondersteuningsgroepe, veldtogte en ʼn Voedingskema. Ons reik ook uit na ons gemeenskap, en wil graag ʼn verskil maak op enige moontlike wyse. Elke jaar

het ons ʼn verkiesing waar enige belangstellende student registreer en ʼn onderhoud ondergaan. Na hierdie proses word hul dan geëvalueer deur die paneel van die vorige jaar, wat bestaan uit die Opsigter, Voorsitter, Sekretaresse, en Tessourier. ʼn Hoof van elke graad word ook aangewys en die nuwe paneel word voor gestem deur die ledemate. Die res van die lede word ingedeel onder hul HVG en as ʼn span vat hul dan verantwoordelikheid vir die graadgroep wat aan hul geallokeer is.

CHARACTER IN ACTION: PEACE 🕊️

Peace isn’t the absence of problems — it’s choosing calm, kindness, and understanding even when things get difficult.

At Hoërskool Louis Trichardt, peace can look like settling disagreements respectfully, refusing to fuel drama, listening before reacting, and being someone who brings calm into the lives of others.

Jesus reminds us that the peace He gives is different from what the world offers 🕊️

Love isn’t just something we feel — it’s something we choose to do.

At Hoërskool Louis Trichardt, love looks like including someone who feels left out, encouraging a friend, showing kindness, forgiving others, and treating every person with dignity and respect.

Our first Character Value challenges us to ask:

“What would our school look like if we chose love in everything we do?”

This year, our theme is SPEAK LIFE, inspired by Proverbs 18:21:

“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Our vision is to be a beacon of hope, love and support to the students of Hoërskool Louis Trichardt—guiding and nurturing their spiritual, emotional and physical well-being.

Over the next few posts, we will introduce you to each of our Guardian Angels, their unique responsibilities, and the special characteristics they represent. Together, they are committed to creating an environment where every learner feels seen, valued, supported and encouraged.

Through love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, humility, self-control and compassion, we choose to use our words and actions to build others up.
