Die strike vorm ’n groot uitdaging in ons Leeuwfontein-area. Die LGBA moes weereens die dienste van ’n veearts inskakel om ’n zebra te laat dart, sodat ons die strik om sy nek kon verwyder. Daar is al hoe minder trek- en kleinwild in ons gebied, wat ’n direkte invloed het op ons gemeenskap en die plaaslike ekosisteem.
Ons doen alles in ons vermoë om die veiligheid van beide mense en diere te verseker, maar ons het dringend hulp nodig. Ons beroep op julle om ’n bydrae te maak en die LGBA te ondersteun deur donasies te skenk. Jou hulp maak ’n verskil – elke rand help om ons area veiliger te maak en die natuur te beskerm.

The traps has become a significant challenge in our Leeuwfontein area. Once again, the LGBA had to enlist the services of a veterinarian to dart a zebra so that we could remove the trap from its neck. There is a decreasing presence of large and small wildlife in our region, which directly impacts our community and local ecosystem.
