Langebaan Feed The Need Creating a brighter future for children through nourishment and unity. All funds come from generous local donors.

Feed The Need is a nonprofit organization founded in 2017 by Team Langebaan, with a mission to ensure every child has access to a healthy meal and the support they need. Feed the Need, along with their volunteers and sponsors provide weekly meals to around 180 children from Langebaan Primary School and high schools in the area and offer donations of clothes, medical assistance, and essential items

. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we distributed over 368,000 food parcels, showcasing community unity. Maureen Swift leads the organization with a team of dedicated volunteers. Our values emphasize community support and ensuring children can focus on their education without hunger. Join us in our mission to create a brighter future for the children of Langebaan.

The members of FEED THE NEED would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to you for once again sponsoring our Soup Kitchen's children's Christmas party. Each child received a Chicken Burger, chips and a can of juice. Miles of smiles and lots of happy faces!!
