"Health is Wealth" Awareness
We had an incredibly impactful session focusing on physical well-being and the vital role of our local clinics.

🩺 Knowing Your Numbers
We kicked off the discussion on why it is crucial to "know your numbers" early in the year. We focused on the importance of screening for Blood Pressure, Glucose levels, HIV status, and Body Mass Index (BMI). Understanding these stats is the first step in taking control of your health journey.

🎤 Guest Speaker: Staff Claasen
A special thank you to our guest speaker, Staff Claasen, who shared expert advice on which tests are essential for different age groups and how often they should be performed. The clarity and encouragement provided by Staff Claasen helped demystify clinic visits for everyone present.

🤝 Our Community Pledge
In a powerful group activity, we made a collective promise to look out for one another. We pledged to:

Keeping Ladismith’s ECD Centers Hydrated! 🚰✨

We are proud to share that we’ve completed another round of water deliveries to our local Early Childhood Development centers! 🚚💨

In times of drought and water scarcity, community action is what keeps us going. By providing clean, safe water to these centers, we are supporting: ✅ Better hygiene and sanitation for kids. ✅ Healthy meals prepared on-site. ✅ Peace of mind for parents and teachers.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped with the logistics and supply. We are stronger together! 🤝

💧 With temperatures hitting a scorching 40°C and Zoar residents limited to just 2 hours of water a day, every drop counts.

We successfully reached 7 drop-off points in Zoar (including both clinics) and delivered water to the Hospital and clinic in Ladismith. Each location received 900 liters. Seeing the gratitude on everyone’s faces made the hard work worth it.

Did you know that every Wednesday, we host After-Care Support for our local children? While their parents are working hard and learning new skills, the kids have a safe, fun, and productive place to be.

From homework help to creative activities, we’re here to make sure they feel supported and inspired! 🌟
