Boots 4 Brothers & Sisters

Boots 4 Brothers & Sisters We are trying to change the lives of upcoming, dedicated and passionate rugby players who cannot afford kit/gear.

We collect and accept all donations to help boys and girls achieve their dream by playing this wonderful sport comfortably and protected. HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUNG, UP & COMING RUGBY PLAYERS LIVES

There are so many junior & senior players from up-and-coming clubs arriving at games and practices without boots, socks, bags, safety gear (you name it) because they are unable to afford it. Don’t

for one second believe that this stops these dedicated and passionate players from showing up. At this stage of their rugby careers playing with running shoes, especially in the forward position, places them not only at a major disadvantage, but also at risk of injury. There are so many of us with spare kit lying around at home that we no longer use and that previously loved kit can make the world of difference in these children’s lives. We saw an opportunity to make it easier for you to donate and to ensure that the kit gets to those who need it most. So here is how you can help...
We are collecting/receiving:
- Rugby/Soccer boots
- Rugby socks
- Rugby shorts
- Sports/kit bags
- Any other useful gear/clothing

Drop off points:
(Please put your donation into a bag/box with you name and number on it so we can personally thank you for your generous donation)

or contact Lance Harris to arrange drop-off/collection on 082 602 6641

If you do not have spare equipment and you would like to be a part of this lifechanging initiative, you can make a cash donation directly into the GLRU Youth Rugby Bank Account:

Every now and then, you come across a video that really touches your heart. ❤️
This is one of those. Take a few moments to watch the video in the link below—you won't regret it. PLEASE reach out to us or reach our directly, if you can assist in any way. Details are in the post.

Meet 10 year old Lehlohonolo Matiwane from Sharpeville. We recently found a video and article of him written by Zacharia Nale and just couldn't let this story go.

One Child, One Dream - A young boy who has one leg, but that doesn't stop him from playing soccer. He takes to the field with his crutches and a ball, every day. He is resilient and certainly doesn't focus on his disability.

We would really like to help him out any way we and our supporters can. We've asked Good Things Guy and https://www.instagram.com/gammie_on_the_go_foundation?igsh=MWtjMHExZG95NjNkdw==
to help spread this awesome story.

We've been in touch with his Mom and would like to start by giving him a Football Dream Pack: Boots (size 2) , kit (size 10-11), a soccer ball, and backpack, along with a short message letting him know how much his determination has inspired our football family.

Come on guys, let's rally behind this little star and see what what we can do! Please contact us if you'd like to contribute in any way.
