KUSO Statement on Gender Based Violence & Femicide
Kutlwano Social Organisation (KUSO) is a men’s organisation based in Kwa-Thema, committed to promoting responsible masculinity, respect, dignity, and safer communities.
KUSO calls on all men to SAY NO TO GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE AND FEMICIDE (GBVF). We believe that men have a responsibility to stand against all forms of violence, abuse, and discrimination against women and children.
KUSO has a zero-tolerance approach to GBVF. Any member found to have committed an act of gender-based violence or femicide, or to have knowingly supported or assisted such acts, will not be permitted to remain a member of Kutlwano Social Organisation (KUSO), subject to the organisation’s established procedures and applicable law.
As KUSO men, we will not be SILENT. Together, we can help build communities free from GBVF.
