🌱💚 A Day of Learning, Leadership and Community Impact 💚🌱

On the 28th of July Butty Scara Foundation had the honour of participating in a meaningful community outreach programme at Itekeleng Primary School (Maphinik)
The theme of the day was "Taking Care of Our Environment." It was wonderful to see learners and teachers actively participating and learning how each of us can play a role in protecting our environment🙌🫡
We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Department of Agriculture for educating teachers and learners about the importance of planting trees and caring for our environment. As part of this initiative, the Department of Agriculture also planted more trees at schools, clinics, and the Maphiniki Old Age Home, helping to create a greener and healthier community for everyone
Our team also had the privilege of visiting the Maphiniki Old Age Home, where we spent time with our beloved elders. It was a humbling experience that reminded us of the importance of caring for and honouring those who came before us.

We also thank the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) for teaching learners about the law, encouraging them to make positive choices, respect the law, behave responsibly, and become future leaders in their communities.

A special thank you to the organisers for inviting Butty Scara Foundation to be part of JTG impact 360 Program such an impactful programme. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to motivate and inspire learners while serving our community alongside dedicated partners.
Together, we are building stronger communities by protecting our environment, empowering our youth, and caring for our elders.
