On the 19th April 2025 we celebrated our Autism Awareness Event. What a beautiful and emotional event it was!!!
For the first time in BBH's history dads rise up to the challenge to come and share their stories with the public. We are so proud of Daddy Boitshoko Leserwane and Daddy Lopang Peacock for sharing their testimonies and the challenges they faced while walking the journey of Autism. Autism was a term they did not know or understand. They were challenged to face the realities and work through all the different stages of grief, to reach the point of accepting their child with autism, and start to REALLY see their children. They started to see their children's talents, strengths, listen , saw what their kids are capable of doing and they have reach the point of Giving HOPE to other families and celebrating their children's small victories. They are proud to say I have a child with autism, and I found NEW HOPE AND JOY IN MY CHILD'S DIAGNOSIS. Our parents faith has grown, they have seen God's hand in movement and are proud to share what they have overcome to be at the point where they are now. Both dad's encouragement was to NEVER GIVE UP and THAT THERE IS HOPE FOR OUR CHILDREN!!!

May we continue to believe in our children's superpowers and gifts. May we continue to fight for them and be their voices until they find their own!!

A BIG thank you to the following sponsors for helping and supporting us with our wonderful event.
