We are happy to report that the eastern portion of the Kenmare Kloof has been snare free for over 6 months. Thanks to the ongoing patrols carried out by 2 very dedicated KTWW men.
Unfortunately the "biodiversity" is slowly being stripped away by worship groups on the lower parts of the JW land and within the Pines Kloof. This is an ongoing problem. Any visitors found on the Mogale side of the areas patrolled are asked to return to Manie Mulder and any camps left are burnt. The team of 2 regularly patrols the JW & private land eastern portions of the Kenmare Kloof. The western portion (Paardeplaats) towards Kwartel street is managed by the Kenmare Kloof Conservation Association. As for the Pines Kloof we are still waiting for clarification on management from Mogale City.
