The CPF's aims are:
- to communicate crime related incidents and create awareness
- to help create a safer neighbourhood for residents
- to improve communication between community and SAPS in area
- to proactively provide ideas to improve safety and security of the area
- to patrol the area on a regular basis
- to have all members of the community in the area involved to be the eyes and ears of the Police.

*Trespassing Suspect Apprehended in Kenmare* 🚨🔒

On 25 April 2026 at approximately 22:59, EC Security received an alarm signal from a property on Shannon Road, Kenmare.

Reaction units were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene within minutes. Upon investigation, an unknown male suspect was found inside the premises, having gained access by jumping over the boundary fence. The suspect was located on the property, and the situation was contained on site.

The client was contacted and attended the premises to grant access for further handling of the incident.

SAPS was notified and attended the scene.

The incident was brought under control quickly, with no harm to the property or occupants. 💪
