Mark this picture. Keep it safe. One day we will come to it with a different story. The young man with me in the picture is Thapelo. He came knocking on our door three days ago needing help with transport to Cape Town(UCT) to pursue his career.
Everything is sorted except the money to get there. We started running around asking for donations for him. By God's grace he flew to Cape Town this morning and is busy making a student card.

Big Sister's Helping Hand had privilege of hosting Sifiso at our organisation. He needed to volunteer at a local organisation in his community. He chose us. Today we closed the journey with reading classes with the kids. We wish him well in his studies and we can't wait for him to work with us in the future.

The 17 August is a special date for Big Sister’s Helping Hand. 5 years ago our organisation was launched. This year we hosted a very successful Women's conference. Supported by Aganang Medicals and Clinix Health group.

Our speakers included Head of Social Work, Ms Goitsemang Botes, Dr Lerato Letsoalo, Ms Mmabatho Mashiane and Mrs Mvala. With Ms Modisane being the MC for the day.

Our speakers addressed all issues affecting Women, from Spiritual Wellness, Emotional Wellness, Financial Wellness as well as Dreams and goals.

We were honored to have my the CEO of our local hospital, Dr DP Moloi honoring our event. What an honor.
