🌱 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU 🌱
Today, I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
First of all, a very special thank you to Candice, all the way from the UK 🇬🇧, for blessing me with a good second-hand Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. 📱 Your kindness means more to me than words can express. With this phone, I am now able to do so much more than I could before. May God bless you abundantly for thinking of me and for your generosity. 🙏❤️
I also want to give a BIG THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers, Sis Elmary and Sinethemba, for their commitment and dedication to our vegetable garden at Scottsdene High School. 🌱🥬
From cleaning the garden, preparing the soil, planting, watering, and finally reaching harvest time — you have been there every step of the way. The time and effort you put in, especially getting up early in the mornings and coming back in the evenings to water the vegetables, all from the goodness of your hearts, means so much to me. ❤️
May God bless you both abundantly with good health, strength and favour. And may He give you a testimony so great that it will shock the whole world! 🙏🔥To all our partners, THANK YOU! ❤️ Because of your support, encouragement and belief in what we are doing, we are where we are today. We could not do this without you.
Our first harvest was donated to our partner, Scottsdene High School, to support their Soup Kitchen and help feed the most vulnerable members of our community. 🥕🥬🍅
Because without food, we cannot think properly, learn properly or build a better future. Every meal makes a difference. Every helping hand makes a difference. Every seed planted is a seed of hope. 🌱❤️

God is good all the time, and all the time God is good! 🙌❤️
Today at 3:00 PM, we had a beautiful Meet and Greet at our Youth Clouds of Heaven food garden to spoil our amazing volunteers. We appreciate them for their willingness, commitment, and faithful support. Without them, so much of our work would not be possible.
A heartfelt thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Marais for your kindness, encouragement, love, and generous support. Mrs. Marais, your Jars of Hope, loaves of bread, and soft drinks meant so much to me and especially to our volunteers. May God richly bless you both🙏
A special thank you to Jazmin our monthly contribution for the delicious sandwiches, soft drinks, and bananas. Your generosity and faithful support are truly appreciated🙏
Another special thanks to The Audrey Sanitary Pads Drive 2026 that contribute us every year may God continue bless your Organization.

The best part of the afternoon was spending time together, sharing testimonies, laughing, and seeing how God has been working in each of our lives. Moments like these remind us that we are not just volunteers—we are family in Christ.

A Heartfelt Thank You
Youth Clouds of Heaven would like to express our sincere gratitude to Audrey's Sanitary Pads Drive for once again blessing us with a generous donation of sanitary pads for the second year in a row. Your kindness and compassion are making a real difference in the lives of many young girls and women in our community❤️🙏
A special thank you also goes to our FRASA Network partner, Charlene Miles, Director of No Stop Organization. Thank you for always thinking of us and for reminding us that sharing is caring. To Sharifa thank you for the collection may God continue bless you. Your continued support and partnership encourage us to keep serving those who are most vulnerable.🤗🫡

After settling into Malmesbury after my father's passing, my mother asked me to take care of her. My days have been filled with helping her sort out her personal matters, and because of that I haven't been able to spend as much time with Youth Clouds of Heaven, our food garden, soup kitchen, and the elderly who mean so much to me.

I thank God for our faithful volunteers who continued the work with dedication and commitment in my absence. Your love for the community is truly inspiring, and I salute each one of you.

A special thank you to my family, friends, and everyone who follows and supports me. Your prayers, encouragement, and kindness have kept me going during this season.

For many years I devoted most of my time to serving the Kraaifontein community, often leaving very little time for my own family. During this season, I have been grateful for the opportunity to spend precious time with them and to take care of my health as well. At 60 years old, I know the importance of resting so that I can continue serving with strength and purpose.

My heart remains with our youth. It is my prayer to take the work of Youth Clouds of Heaven to the next level, not only in Kraaifontein but also in Malmesbury. Too many of our young people are being lost to gang violence. They are our future, and they deserve hope, guidance, and a chance to live the life God intended for them.

To God be all the glory. Without Him we are lost, but with Him all things are possible.

Today our hearts are filled with gratitude! 💚

A special thank you to Mrs Marais, who willingly offered her time to volunteer with Youth Clouds of Heaven. Early this morning she woke her husband and said she was ready with her gloves and black bags to serve. What a beautiful example of a heart willing to answer God's call! Thank you, Mrs Marais, for listening to the voice of God. Together we can make a difference.

A heartfelt salute to Mr Marais for supporting and encouraging her. Your support means so much.

We were also blessed by our faithful volunteer Adwina, who surprised us by bringing her two children. While we pulled out weeds, they eagerly helped by picking them up. What a wonderful family effort!

By God's grace, we completed six garden beds today at Scottsdene High–Nulli Secundus High School. God is good all the time!

May the Lord richly bless each one of you for your love, sacrifice, and servant hearts.

Today we at Youth Clouds of Heaven would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Adrian Cupido for taking the time to interview Sister Elmary Cloete as part of his research for the University of the Western Cape on urban gardens and food systems. We truly appreciate the interest shown in the work being done within our community.
We also give all honor and glory to the Almighty God for protecting our community garden during the recent storm that caused so much damage across South Africa. By His grace, our garden was saved, and we remain thankful for His mercy and provision.
It was also a privilege to introduce Adrian to the new principal of Scottsdene High-Nulli Secundus High School, Mr Magerman. We had a positive discussion about how we can involve and uplift the youth through this initiative. Thank you, Mr Magerman, for your willingness to engage with us. We look forward to meeting with the Governing Body to present our proposal and work together to build a brighter future for our youth, with God on our side.

Today we as Youth Clouds of Heaven would like to say a sincere thank you to Ngcokoto General Trade Contract and their contract workers for assisting our Organization at Scottsdene High – Nulli Secundus High School. We truly appreciate the favor they did by helping with the bags so that the truck could come and collect them.
A special word of thanks to Joyce Mc Gowan for her leadership, teamwork, and support throughout the process. Your kindness and willingness to assist means a lot to us and our community.
We are also grateful to everyone who took the time to listen to the word of encouragement shared through our Lord Jesus Christ. May God continue to bless each one of you abundantly for your good hearts and willingness to serve others.

Today we received a message from Adrian Cupido, who is currently conducting quick interviews this afternoon for his Master’s research at the University of the Western Cape on urban gardens and food systems in Kraaifontein.
We are also blessed to have Sister Elmary, our volunteer for the past 4 years, visiting the garden again after going through many challenges over the past few months. Adrian will also interview her next week Tuesday.
We would like to say thank you to No Stop for referring Adrian to us. It is truly encouraging to see our youth taking interest in urban gardens and food systems, working towards a better and healthier future for our communities.
