Please note:
From 01 July 2026, the QCTO Occupational Qualifications will officially take full effect across the sector. This means that all new enrolments will only be accepted into QCTO‑aligned occupational qualifications, which are more comprehensive, more demanding, and generally more costly due to their expanded structure and compliance requirements.

To avoid missing out on the final opportunity to enrol in the legacy programmes at their current, accessible pricing, we strongly advise completing your registration before 30 June 2026.

📢 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: SETA LEGACY QUALIFICATIONS CLOSING

South Africa is officially phasing out all SETA legacy qualifications across every sector.

Last enrolment date: 30 June 2026.
After this, no new registrations will be accepted under the SETA system.

All legacy programmes are being replaced by QCTO Occupational Qualifications, Skills Programmes and Part‑Qualifications, which have stricter entry requirements, higher NQF levels, workplace experience and external assessments.

🔄 ETD Programme Changes
• Facilitator → Learning & Development Facilitator
• Assessor → Assessment Practitioner
• SDF → Skills Development Facilitation Practitioner
• Moderator now approved as SP‑260321 (NQF 6, 60 credits) – not yet open for enrolment

⏳ Why Enrol Before 30 June 2026
• More affordable
• Simpler entry requirements
• Shorter and easier to complete
• QCTO programmes are longer, stricter and more expensive

✔️ Certificate Validity
If you enrol before the deadline, your certificate and SoR remain valid, recognised, recorded on the NLRD, and usable within the QCTO system. Nothing is cancelled or downgraded.
