Hello all my chameleon loving friends out there 😍 it's been a while... been really busy at work during our summer season...we've experienced some strange weather here in Knysna lately 🌞 during the very hot days i had to help them by spraying the plants and trees where they live quite a few times a day just to hydrated and keep them cool💦🌳🦎💦🌿💦
These Bradypodion Damaranum chameleons go completely light lime green when they get overheated 🌡 so when you see them in this pale lime green color you'll know what to do to help this amazing species survive ... especially the pregnant females❤️ 🦎🇿🇦💚

We have quite a few pregnant female Knysna dwarf chameleons in our garden and by the looks of it they will probably give live birth in the next few weeks 😍 really looking forward to see all the newborn babies coming 🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎🦎❤️
The younger females normally have a litter of between 8 to12 babies and the more mature the females are they can prudence a litter of between 16 to 24 babies every year.
The Knysna dwarf chameleons gestation period is normally 10 to 12 months...so if the female gets pregnant during the early spring she will have her babies the following year around the same time Knysna Dwarf Chameleon 🤗 🦎🌳🇿🇦💚

Brrr it's freezing cold here in Knysna 🥶 everybody is busy hibernating in these temps

It's winter in South Africa now and all the chameleons are starting to hiber-chill these days ... but today the sun was shining again after many days of rain, so everybody was out and about looking for a bite to eat 😋 i had my hands full ..spotting dinodragons.. i was ready with a nice juicey cricket and other jummy treats 🦗🪰🦋🪱 🦎🇿🇦💚
