🔥 CHOICES. CHOICES. CHOICES. 🔥

Every day, we make choices. 🤔
Big ones. Small ones. Easy ones. Difficult ones.

But here’s the thing… EVERY CHOICE MATTERS! 👀

We had an amazing and real session with the learners, talking about how the choices we make today can shape our relationships, our future, our character, and our everyday lives. 💭✨

Sometimes doing the right thing isn’t the easiest thing but it’s always worth thinking twice before we choose. 🙌

💡 Pause. Think. Choose wisely.

Your choices today are helping create the person you’ll become tomorrow. 🌱

So… what choice will YOU make today? 👇🔥

✨ RESPECT ✨

We had an amazing and meaningful group discussion with our boys and girls about Respect. 💬❤️

We spoke about what respect really means, how we show respect to ourselves and others, and why it is so important in our everyday relationships. The young people shared their thoughts, experiences, and perspectives, making the conversation honest, engaging, and insightful.

It was encouraging to see them participate so openly and thoughtfully. 🙌 We hope they will continue to put what they learned into practice by choosing to speak with kindness, listen to others, value one another, and show respect even when we disagree.

Respect starts with us! 💛

Knowing Who You Are 💛

We had an amazing session with the kids learning about identity and who they are. We spoke about how important it is to know your worth, understand who you are, and not let others define you.

Most importantly, we reminded them that their identity isn’t only found in what people say about them — it is built on what God says about them. 🙏✨

They are loved. They are valuable. They are created with purpose. They are uniquely made by God. ❤️

Our prayer is that each child will grow up knowing who they are in Christ and living confidently in the identity God has given them. 🌱

We had a meaningful and quite interesting session with the boys about emotions and how to handle them. We spoke about how it’s not always good to react immediately without thinking, because when we don’t learn to regulate our emotions, our emotions can end up controlling us.

We encouraged the boys to pause, think, and choose how they respond rather than allowing anger, frustration, or other emotions to control their actions. Sometimes a moment of self-control can prevent a decision we may later regret. 💭💪

Learning to control your emotions doesn’t mean ignoring them — it means learning how to handle them wisely. ❤️‍🩹

🔥 DISCIPLINE MATTERS 🔥

We had an amazing session with our boys and girls, focusing on the importance of discipline and how it can make a real difference in their everyday lives.

We spoke about how discipline helps us make better choices, stay focused, take responsibility, reach our goals, and become the best version of ourselves.

Discipline isn’t about being perfect — it’s about learning to do what is right, even when it’s difficult. 💪🏽

Small acts of discipline today can lead to a stronger and better tomorrow. 🙌🏽

AWARENESS. HONEST CONVERSATIONS. BETTER CHOICES.

We had another meaningful awareness session with the learners, where we opened up important conversations around choices, future planning, relationships, s*x and boundaries, puberty, and the importance of speaking to a trusted adult.

These are not always easy topics to talk about, but creating a safe space where learners can ask questions, learn, and be heard is so important. ❤️

We were incredibly encouraged by the amazing feedback and engagement from the kids throughout each of these discussions. 🙌

Our prayer and hope is that what they have learned will not simply stay in the room, but will help them make wiser, healthier and better choices in their everyday lives.

We’re grateful for every honest conversation, every question asked, and every learner who chose to engage. 🌟

Equipping learners today to make better choices tomorrow. 🙏

This week, we had an honest conversation with the boys about the difference between genuine love and counterfeit love.

In a world where love is often confused with lust, pressure, popularity, and temporary feelings, we explored what real love truly looks like. Genuine love is patient, respectful, sacrificial, and rooted in truth. Counterfeit love may look attractive on the outside, but it often leads to hurt, selfishness, and brokenness.

Our prayer is that these young men would learn to recognize the difference, value themselves and others, and pursue the kind of love that reflects God's heart.

"Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." — 1 John 3:18 ❤️

We tackled one of the most important—and often most difficult—topics: s*x. Together, we created a safe space for honest conversations, thoughtful questions, and biblical truth.

We explored God's purpose for s*x as a beautiful gift intended for marriage, while also talking about self-worth, healthy boundaries, respect, and the importance of making wise choices.

We're incredibly proud of these young women for their courage to engage, ask questions, and grow. These conversations matter because understanding our worth and God's design today helps shape the choices we make tomorrow. 🌸🥰

We are incredibly grateful for the beautiful knitted baby clothes and blankets generously donated by the residents of Loeriehof Knysna and Erene from Protea Hotel by Marriott Knysna Quays .

Your kindness, generosity, and love will bring warmth, comfort, and hope to babies and families in our community. Every stitch reflects compassion, and every blanket and garment is a reminder that together we can make a meaningful difference.

Thank you for partnering with us in caring for those who need it most. May your generosity inspire many others to share the love they have been given. ❤️🧶👶

Another beautiful reminder of God's perfect provision! 💛

As our storeroom began running low, God once again provided—this time through the generous team from Standard Bank - South Africa in Plettenberg Bay and Knysna.

In the true spirit of Madiba Day, they donated much-needed baby items for our weekly maternity ward visits and spent their Saturday serving alongside the Options Care Centre and Thando House teams in both the maternity and paediatric wards.

Madiba Day reminds us that small acts of kindness can make a lasting difference. It was a privilege to share God's love with these precious families and remind them that they are deeply loved and valued.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special. ❤️
