Back2School Event!

As we approach the new school year, we acknowledge the pressing need to support underprivileged scholars within our community.

Considering South Africa's elevated unemployment rate and the substantial number of individuals reliant on government grants that barely cover fundamental monthly expenses, we respectfully request your assistance in providing essential items for disadvantaged CHILDREN like school stationery, white shirts and grey pants in various sizes, and school shoes. Your contribution will undoubtedly bring joy to a child's face.

For further information, please contact Charmaine at 073 481 9908.

On Christmas Day, we hosted a Christmas lunch for underprivileged families in Knysna at the Hornlee Community Hall. We provided meals for over 300 individuals and distributed gifts to children and food hampers to each household. This event was made possible through the generous support of Kfm 94.5 , Pick n Pay , Knysna Vineyard, Derek Slein, Andrew Cooper, Lee Blasich, Kabelo Matlaletsa, Jurie & Adri Groenewald, the Nkosi family, and friends.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to all our sponsors for their contributions.

Please support our FUNDRAISING EVENT ON THE 9TH OF AUGUST 2024.

The funds will go towards the following :

1. Changes of Knysna's food kitchens in Knysna
2. To repair our fence at our office. Some young adults in our community decided to break it down to be SPITEFUL and it's been a struggle to get it repaired/fix.

Dear Knysna Residents,

SUBJECT: DONATIONS

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to each of you for your ongoing support through generous donations. Your contributions are highly valued and appreciated.

As you may be aware, our organization operates several soup kitchens in Knysna. Unfortunately, this year has been exceptionally challenging for us to provide for those in need due to financial constraints. We are in urgent need of your assistance to continue feeding the hungry. Our daily meals cater to 100-180 individuals, from Monday to Thursday.

We kindly request that you consider donating any of the following vital items:

- Soup packs
- Vegetables
- Soup mix
- Canned food
- Rice
- Spaghetti or macaroni

If you prefer, a monetary donation of R20 would be highly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.

Easter Soccer Tournament Knysna

Daar waar hy gestitch is was n g*t. Daardie stuk vleis is weg tot en met vandag. Hyt bykans 3keer sy bewussyn verloor. Ek as sy mammie was letterlik stom. Ek het gevries. Ek was in n trans. My klong het so baie bloed verloor dat ek nie kan verstaan hoe hy nog lewendig is nie. Hy het geprewel "Here help my" terwyl hy so baie bloed verloor het. Ek was geoordeel as ma. Ek gee nie om nie. Niemand is perfek nie en dit maak jou wat whatsoever te se gehad het van my nie veel beter as ek nie. Waarop ek neerkom is *as jou okapyp se vaas breek, gooi dit in n sak en in n drom!* Dit kon so anders gewees het maar die Here is die Hereβ€οΈπŸ™ŒπŸ˜‡πŸ™"
- Mugelaine Andrews

Vin Callan is tans weer opgeneem in die hospitaal, asb okapyp rokers van Hornlee, Knysna as julle in publieke plekke is soos sport gronde en parke, as jy jou vaas breuk tel dit op en gooi dit in n drom.

Dankie

Back2school event!

We're extremely grateful and thankful for all the donations we received.

Unemployment and low incomes create an environment where children are unable to attend school. Therefore we asked the community to help those children in need by donating pre-loved school uniforms to us and we'll hand them out.

As we all know some parents are also struggling to buy the basic stationery for eg: books, pens, pencils, ruler, pritt ect but Thanks to Knysna Municipality for their donation. We helped 60 Children with basic stationery.πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

Thanks to everyone who donated and helped where they can. We dearly appreciate it. ❀️

Changes of Knysna would like to convey our sincere gratitude to each individual who consistently supports and sponsors our soup kitchens across various areas in Knysna. We appreciate your assistance immensely. πŸ™πŸ™β€οΈ

Today, we require your help once more. We are presently attempting to assist a family whose 25-year-old son urgently needs and desires to attend a rehabilitation center in Parow. Currently, he is hospitalized due to drug addiction, which was exacerbated by trauma that he was unable to overcome, resulting in psychotic behavior. He is currently on medication and stable but cannot be kept in the hospital for an extended period.

The application has been submitted, and all we still require is an additional R1750. Could you please consider assisting with any amount, no matter how small, to help us reach our goal by Thursday, September 29? Please do not feel pressured, as even a small contribution of R20 would be greatly appreciated.
