RIES

1. To promote a closer relationship between the Knysna and Leisure Isle Libraries and the Knysna community.

2. To support the Library in matters of policy laid down by the Librarian and others professionally empowered to dictate policy.

3. To propagate knowledge of the functions, resources, services and needs of the Library.

4. To take the lead in the development of a programme for the extension and improvement of the Library and its aims and to support the Council and C.P.L.S. authorities who provide the service and facilities.

5. To take any further steps or do anything considered necessary for the furtherance of these aims.
